Claire Smyth is the owner and the inspiration behind Northern Ireland’s Don't forget the Dog. Having worked in corporate industry for over 20 years it was time to make a change and follow a passion that is close to her heart, man’s best friend. Her Irish Setter Abbey could also be the cause for the change in career. “I decided it was time to create some quality luxury dog accessories such as bandanas, dicky bows in rich tweeds we then very quickly ventured into collars and leads”.
“Our products are handmade and designed by myself and are inspired by our rural Irish landscape". As the business has now progressed into its third year we have added some accessory items to our product range. These could be items I have discovered and find valuable as a dog owner myself. Sometimes we are asked about items when we attend events so I set about finding some quality products that compliment our handmade range and suit our brand. Our range of products make great gifts for people who are mad about their dogs just like us!
